Even Fortune Teller Can't Predict Our Malaysian Football Team Future.

Have you ever tried to get your future read by fortune teller? There’s a lot of version of them but lets look within our country…no need to go outsidelah ok. Those gipsy fortune teller can’t be trust anyway. They only predict people’s future in the movie only. Let us look at our local Chinese fortune teller.

I have no experience at all getting my fortune told before so I ask ducky about it when I was back in Sabah last May. For your information, ducky is Chinese but he can speak Kadazan far better then I…shame on me. Anyway ducky advised me to be careful when it comes to fortune teller.

He told me that he had once ask a fortune teller to teach him how to read peoples future (4D lah tu). At first the guy didn’t want to tell him anything but after a while…with ducky being persistent, he eventually opens up.

The fortune teller told ducky that he can somehow talk to your spirit. It’s kind of like talking to your inside (spirit) without you (body) being aware of it. From there the fortune teller can ask your spirit anything…like how old you are, your hamster’s name and other stuff that only you know (present time only). So by the time you sit down, he already know what to say to make you believe in him. In other word, he knows you and your past but knows nothing about your future.

Depend on you guys to believe in it…kind of hard for those 4D enthusiast who’s searching for short cuts…

Anyway now that I have told you a little bit about fortune telling, who can guest how many goals Malaysia will let go when they face Uzbekistan.

PS: I believe in numbers…that is why I’ve made a formula to predict our team performance for the next match. I’ll will post it tomorrow…

29 May 2007

It's not wrong to be imperfect and guilty. People will forgive, and they would forget. That's why we are humans…we forget. Sometimes it's just plain hard to follow the rules…what where they thinking when they jot down something stupid like that? Rules are meant to be broken…in the most creative way, I guess…

I went back to my hometown last month. It was that kind of holidays that seems normal on the outside but totally different inside. I went for something far more important. I went back with my girlfriend to get engaged. Yup…you heard me right. I'm officially engaged now…finally.

Part of the reason that I didn't post regularly (sorry) for this past two month is due to the new office... loads of unsettle work and me thinking to much about the engagement. Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost 7 years now. I met her while working during my semester break at Dell. She was there on the same circumstances also. Who ever guess a simple date to celebrate our pay day would end up as a relationship that would endure 7 years of uncertainty because of our religion. I'm a Catholic and she was a Christian (SIB).

It's kind of strange how we humans fight over something like religion. In order to get blessing from the church to get marry, one of us would have to give up our belief…why? I'm not willing to force her to follow me and she felt the same for me. For a time it was a cruel thing for us both when going to church wasn't on our Sunday plan anymore. Both of us are in love but the thought of getting our parents on a war path was unthinkable. We were both on a crossroad. We got into arguments…until one day, we decided that we would go to both churches on Sunday…

We are engaged now, I'm still a Catholic and she is still a Christian. When you love someone, religion “sometimes” isn't a barrier. Our family accepted that both of us are happier like this…learning and sharing one another opinions on our faith. Thank you God… thank you…

Going Home

Seems that five month isn't that long at all. Me and my girlfriend are
on our way back home to Sabah again. We are now at Penang
International Airport. Unfortunately, me and my girlfriend have to
transit at LCCT before taking the morning flight to KK. I just wish
that we have taken the direct flight to KK. You just don't know how
much I hate staying there for a night.

Missing Home

I miss waking up in the morning and looking out of the window back home. I guess no matter where you are; there is no better place then being home.

PS: have to get some sleep now…

Direct Flights

Remember the time when I post something about LCCT? Most of us from Borneo who live in Penang have to have a transit flight in LCCT before continuing our journey to Borneo. I really don't like to stay for a night at *Hotel* LCCT but because it's the best bargain one can find from Airasia, I sometimes have to sleep on the floor.
I guess someone heard me and now…direct flight from Penang to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, thank you. I know it's a small thing but for me it's a time saver and next time I go back, I won't be sleeping on the floor or trying to break my back trying to sleep on those awful bench. Thank you again Airasia.

Now I can reach home in less then 3 hour (2:55 hour to be accurate). It's much faster and cheaper. Now I have the choice to visit my parents more then once a year.

PS: Sabahan visit Penang ok and Penangites, go visit Sabah and climb Mount Kinabalu…

LCCT No.2

I'm going back to Penang this evening. It's going to be a long journey back. Transit at "Hotel LCCT" will mean that I have to break my back to sleep. Anyway have you heard about Kota Kinabalu LCC terminal? It's completed already and it only took them about 7 months to finish. It was supposed to be a 36 month project but somehow, someone did the right thing and got it completed for 2007. From the looks of it, the quality of the finishing is top class. Further more they provided a "comfortable bench" for us user. If only "they" could be this efficient on other important things...Good job anyway for the new terminal...

Ranau Pitstop

Landed at Kota Kinabalu terminal 2 airport at 9.50am today. After a
terrible night at LCCT and a 2hour 50minute flight, I have to face
another 3hour journey to Ranau. Almost fainted because of lack of
sleep. By 2.55pm me and my girlfriend finally reach her hometown. It
was raining that afternoon. Went and eat mee rojak that my girlfriend
recommended. It was very good and I plan to go there again tommorow. I
will be here in Ranau until the 31st before I head back to Penampang
(my hometown). For the time being I will be staying and attending a
wedding here. Just say it is a field trip for me and my girlfriend.
Anyway here I am at bed after not having a proper sleep and rest for
24hour. PS: I'm blogging tonight using my Nokia 3220 with Mobile
Gmail.

Hotel LCCT

Ok I'm here at LCCT. My connecting flight to Kota Kinabalu will be at
7am morning. Yes! I'm feeling very "lucky" that I have to
chance to stay here for the night…yah sure…

The chairs/bench here at LCCT is unfriendly for travelers that have
connecting flight especially like me. I tried lying on my back just
now and it hurts so much. So where actually does someone like me get
nap around here, the floor?

I'm feeling very tired now. I think the floor is the only option for
me now. I just have to find a nice corner to doze off… zzz….zzz…zzz

Goodbye Penang

This is my last day here in Penang for this year. No, I’m not leaving Penang for good but only until next year. I will be on leave starting tomorrow. My flight to KL will depart tonight.

I just hope I can beat the traffic from my office back to my apartment this afternoon. For your information, I’m still working today. I should have taken the day off but I didn’t. Why, you ask me? Well I’m just too stingy to use my available leave; I’m saving some for special occasion.

Cheers!

PS: I will try to update daily using my Nokia...Hopefully with pictures inside...
