Hi

I haven't been blogging for a while now. It's a breath of fresh air for me I guess. It seems that having to post almost everyday since September last year made me unhealthy lately…yeah right /(^.^)\. It's been very busy in the office since management took the liberty to have a shuffle in its structure. I've been kept on the tip of my toe since last week but then again, I'm somewhat happy with all the changes that have been made.

For once I feel that the true purpose of me resigning from my old company to moving here in the new company have finally come true (after over a year). I'm not going to comment further about it but I would like to add that with the departure of a certain individual (long overdue), everything have become more organize and productive. I wish it had come much sooner but its better late the never…

There are a couple of changes that would be happening in this blog of mind. For once I won't be posting like crazy everyday just to keep up with what I've promised to myself last time. I will blog when I feel like it and when I have time to do so. It wouldn't mean a lot for me and this blog anyway because there aren't many visitors here except for my girlfriend…hi dear \(^-^)/…

The other change that I would like to do is to tone down a little bit of the advertisement and also less PPP. As you have notice, there is hardly any PPP post here since middle of February. I'm not saying that PPP isn't good; it's just that I'm taking it slow until PayPal let us Malaysian withdraw from them (if that is ever going to happen anyway). If you want to sign up for PPP, just sign up from my blog ok…he he he

So have a productive week ok…

F1 Future

I've been snubbing F1 for a couple of years know because it suddenly became boring and a one way race. Alonso has been dominating the championship for 2 years (good for him) with Michael and Kimi following at the back. It seems that Alonso's first title wasn't a fluke at all, and he was the real deal when he won the title again last year. The only downside was that there were now genuine “new” contenders that were challenging these 3 drivers…until now…

Must watch event of the weekend…Happy Weekends you guys...

PS: PC Fair is here again and my stupid computer broke down again...What is the odd of the whole damn computer manufacturing circle having a bug inside you hardware triggered every quarter of the year?

My girlfriend forwarded a few pictures of yesterday bomb hoax to me this morning. It shows the extent of the jam and how the bridge look like when it's empty. It's kind of blur but you still can see the details clearly.

PS: Imagine if F1 organize a race on the bridge itself....nice

Penang Bridge 4/4/2007

There wasn’t a single soul that wasn’t frustrated at the traffic jam that happen today. The police totally cut of Penang Bridge access during the afternoon causing a crawl from the island and also the mainland. People were given early warning about the cut off but it wasn’t enough. They want to go home and that made the jam biblical…

For you who didn’t heard about it, there was a bom threat that was issue for the bridge. The police had to cut off all access to comb the whole bridge for possible danger. Sure enough, the evening news on the TV confirm about the whole inccident. The bridge resume it’s normal operation around 7pm...

Congestion On Penang Bridge After Bomb Hoax

PENANG, April 4 (Bernama) -- A massive traffic jam lasting more than two hours occurred on the Penang Bridge from 4.45pm today when police closed both lanes on the bridge after receiving a call about a bomb being placed on the bridge this afternoon.

Timur Laut District Police Chief ACP Azam Abdul Hamid said the bridge was closed from 4.45 this afternoon to enable the bomb detection unit to carry out a check and prevent undesired incidents to befall on the public using the bridge.

He said the police had closed the bridge shortly after receiving the call about the bomb.
Upon inspection, police found a metal pipe measuring 30.48 cm long at the Km38 on the Penang-bound lane, he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.

The bomb detection unit later detonated the pipe at the site at about 6.30pm.
The bridge was reopened to the public at about 7pm after the police had ensured that the situation was safe.

I Will Go On

Something came up today that just made me feel uncertain. It's something like Romeo and Juliet, but in real life. I want to be strong and stern about this. I just don't want it to end like the movies…I need to clear my mind and start preparing now. I don't have much time but I will go on with the plan. It's our happiness and not others…

Eat Frogs and Suck Panadol

So your life sucks like sucking “Panadol Soluble” with that little tad of sizzling feeling. You're enjoying it and you don't even care about the bubbles coming out of your month. It's been like for me that since the price of fuel went up…It's been crazy living off your little spare change at the end of the month. Remember McDonald's recent advertisement where people are paying their food with their loose change…That's how I'm living right now. That's how good McDonald understands Malaysian consumer…and they are taking opportunity of it brainwashing us with their feel good clips…Such an opportunist (not that I don't like them anyway)…

Have you tried to sink your teeth on frogs before? It's delicious I tell you…I'm not lying ok. When they “masak cili padi” the dam thing it's worth every single ringgit you pay…People have been talking about how good Penang's food is that I'm taking the opportunity to promote this delicacy. For those who are living around USM in Sungai Dua. There is a restaurant across the road where the Saturday “pasar malam” is located. It's and old wooden shop and you won't miss it that easily when you are near that area. Sorry for forgetting the name of the restaurant…silly ape. It opens around late in the afternoon until 10pm only. Beside the frogs they also serve food in big portion…try ordering a plate of fried rice if you don't believe me…

PS: I go here when the budget is tight…they can put McDonalds to shame.

True Story,Must Read!!!!!!!!!!

This is a true story of a young college girl who passed away last month, at
Shah Alam. Her name is Priya; she was hit by a lorry.

I don't want to mention the name of the college. She had a boyfriend names
Shankar. He lives in Johore. Both of them are true lovers. They are always
on the phone with each other. You can never see her without her handphone.

She spends ¾ of the day talking with Shankar. Priya's family knows about
their relationship. Shankar is very close with Priya's family (just imagine
their love). Before she passed away she always told her friends "If I pass
away please burn me with my handphone". She also said the same thing to her
parents.

After her death, people couldn't carry her coffin. I was there ~ a lot of
them tried to do so but still couldn't , everybody including me, had tried
to carry the coffin, the result was still the same.

Eventually, they called their neighbour, a "bomoh" from Thailand (pak
Darin), who is a friend of her father's. He took a seat and started
speaking
to himself slowly. After a few minutes, he said "this girl misses something
here". Then her friends told Darin bout her intentions to burn her with her
phone. He then opened the coffin and place her phone, together with the SIM
card inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the coffin. It could
now be moved and they carried it into the van easily. All of us were
shocked. (can you feel the fear? I'm shaking at this moment.)

Priya's parents didn't inform Shankar that Priya had passed away (pity
Shankar). After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.

Shankar: "Atte, I'm coming home today. Please cook something nice for me.
Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today; I want to surprise her."

Her mother replied, "You come home first, I want to tell you something very
important."

After he arrived at Shah Alam, they told him
the truth about Priya.

Shankar thought that they were fooling around. He was laughing and said,
"Don't try to fool me ... tell Priya to come out ... I have a gift for her.
Please stop this nonsense."

Then they show him the Priya's death certificate; they gave him proof to
make him believe.

Shankar started to sweat profusely. He said, "It's not true. We spoke
yesterday. She still calls me."

Shankar was shaking so badly when suddenly, his phone rang.

"See this is from Priya. See this ...." he showed the phone to Priya's
family. All of them told him to answer. He used the loudspeaker mode. All
of
them heard this conversation, loud and clear. No cross lines, no humming.
It
was Priya's voice! And there was no way others could use her SIM card as it
was nailed inside the coffin! They were so shocked and asked for pak
Darin's
help.

Pak Darin brought his master (Tok Chen) to solve this matter. He and
pak
Darin worked for 5 hours ... then they discovered one thing .....
