Hamster Babies

One of the hamsters (Puteh) that I bought for my girlfriend for her birthday have given birth to 6 little baby hamster last Thursday (19/7/2007). Unfortunately 2 of them didn't make it after one night. I wish the other 4 will have a better chance. Here's some picture of the Puteh the hamster and her babies…

It's not wrong to be imperfect and guilty. People will forgive, and they would forget. That's why we are humans…we forget. Sometimes it's just plain hard to follow the rules…what where they thinking when they jot down something stupid like that? Rules are meant to be broken…in the most creative way, I guess…

I went back to my hometown last month. It was that kind of holidays that seems normal on the outside but totally different inside. I went for something far more important. I went back with my girlfriend to get engaged. Yup…you heard me right. I'm officially engaged now…finally.

Part of the reason that I didn't post regularly (sorry) for this past two month is due to the new office... loads of unsettle work and me thinking to much about the engagement. Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost 7 years now. I met her while working during my semester break at Dell. She was there on the same circumstances also. Who ever guess a simple date to celebrate our pay day would end up as a relationship that would endure 7 years of uncertainty because of our religion. I'm a Catholic and she was a Christian (SIB).

It's kind of strange how we humans fight over something like religion. In order to get blessing from the church to get marry, one of us would have to give up our belief…why? I'm not willing to force her to follow me and she felt the same for me. For a time it was a cruel thing for us both when going to church wasn't on our Sunday plan anymore. Both of us are in love but the thought of getting our parents on a war path was unthinkable. We were both on a crossroad. We got into arguments…until one day, we decided that we would go to both churches on Sunday…

We are engaged now, I'm still a Catholic and she is still a Christian. When you love someone, religion “sometimes” isn't a barrier. Our family accepted that both of us are happier like this…learning and sharing one another opinions on our faith. Thank you God… thank you…

Things Inside

My heart feels numb right now. It's a feeling you get when you are in a crisis. You can't function well and it's hard to concentrate on specific task you want to do. You feel tired all the time and you begin to imagine bad things that you might encounter. I'm scared and I don't know what to do.

I know that I take small things for granted. I never imagine these small things would accumulate into a big thing. It's hard to explain and it's hard to except the replies. I just don't know what I can do to make things better. All I want is that things would turn back to what it was.

When I open my mouth, words that come out of it simply don't reflect what goes inside my heart. I'm sorry about this flaw of mind. I'm sorry about my existence. I will try to improve and try to be there with a smile all the time. I've taken this path once and I won't take it again because it hurts me to see you like this. I'm sorry and I wish I can make you smile again…

Rainy Valentine's Day

I like music so much. I just can't do my work without listening to my favorite tunes. Whenever I'm searching for some new ideas for my presentation, I listen to music to ease the idea out of my head…similar to going to the restroom…I think so…

Unfortunately, even with my great taste for good tunes I'm not blessed with a great voice. Imagine an ape with a voice like Beckham…can I rock the world? Nope I guess not…just put me to rest if I try…you'll be saving a lot of ear drums in doing so…

In the past it wasn't like this at all. I used to tag along my church caroling groups whenever Christmas is around. I use to be in first voice (small kids can't do forth voice you know) and it was fun for a while. I even join a singing competition when I was in primary six…my parents force me…

Nevertheless over the years I loss my kiddy voice…puberty hit me in the face and my voice broke to what it is now. I didn't realize it at first. When I did, I've already humiliated myself in front of hundreds gazing eyes. I was a *freshie* in a boarding school and I was doing a group singing during orientation…it rain…and it rain hard…

Now here I am…without any talent…without any great voice…and Valentine's Day just in the corner. So what's so bad about it you ask? Well for once, I don't have any *moolah* so spent on my girlfriend…and because of that, she wants me to sing to her during Valentine's Day…me singing again? Help me…

PS: Expect heavy rains during Valentine's Day eve or on Valentine's Day itself…bring your umbrella will you…

I'm Sorry Dear...

Just do it, just ask!

If you want something, just ask for it. If you are lost, ask someone for direction. If you are confused, ask for explanation. If you admire someone, ask her/him out for dinner. If you think that you are wrong, ask for forgiveness. It's very simple, just ask!

People won't beat you to death if you ask them nicely. However, if you ask them to beat you up, they would gladly do so...Just saying (^.^). The thing is if you don't ask you will never know what the outcome will be. Maybe you would have become a millionaire if you have asked the question twice, or maybe you'll be the next Malaysian Idol if you have asked for another chance. Who knows how far you can go by asking...

I have encountered a lot of people who shy away from asking but hopes that other can read their minds and give them what they want. If they don't get what they want, they will start making noise at the back. Maybe they are just too scared to ask because the other person is a man eater perhaps...

I have something to share with you all out there, 6 years ago I met someone special while working part time during my Uni days. I didn't have the opportunity to speak to her a lot because the shift that we were on was rather busy. But I managed to ask for her phone number during the last day of our working contract. I called her and end up going for lunch together on the 11th of November...The rest is history. Now what if I didn't ask for her phone number…

PS: I still feel that it was just like yesterday that we went out together dear…Happy 6th anniversary dear…I love you (^.^)

The Next Step

It's almost 4.30am in the morning now. I know it's already late but this is the only time I can think clearly. The air is cold and the atmosphere is quiet, just nice for me to ponder deeper into my mind and soul. Nowadays I don't have the privilege to do so, because of my hectic daily routine.

Taking the next step in life. Yes, you heard me right. The next step. It is a small word to any but to do so is a big commitment. For those who are in the dark now, I'm talking about getting married. Some may ask, are you sure? Are you making the right decision? Yes, that is my answer. I made up my mind and I want it. The only question now is how should I go about it?

I want to propose to her but I really can't think on how to do it. I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. At least I want her to be prepared; I don't want her to be shocked when I propose to here in public. How can I make her anticipate without telling her? Can anyone help me?

I love her so much, that's why I want the best for her. I don't want to make a plain proposal, nor I big and noisy one. I want a nice simple but meaningful proposal where I can tell her that I love her and want to be with her for the rest of my life…

I have been googling around trying to find ideas on how to proposed, but it's all just the same thing. I need advice from someone who knows, someone who already proposed. If not, maybe the girls can tell me how they want their partners to propose to them. I really want it to be a dream proposal for my girlfriend…

PS: I try to update on this topic soon, I'm trying to think when the best possible time to propose to her…
