June?

Its June already…Three more months and this blog will turn 1. I know that I haven't been as motivated as last time but I'm very happy with the way it is now. Imagine posting almost everyday…yikes!

Looking back at all the things that I've written here, I notice most of it is about me complaining. I do complain a lot and naturally it feels good after a session of letting out. No one gets hurt in the process, and I always try to protect their identity…hopefully.

I know that it's kind of lame for me to end this post here but "what to do”…maybe this afternoon I have some smart a** idea to post. Good luck in your work/studies or whatever you are doing now…

Believe It Or Not...

Lately the weather here in Penang has been acting kind of crazy lately…especially in the afternoon. But yesterday was a different story….it was like a scene from the movie “Twister”…minus the tornadoes off course. As you can read it on the newspaper (The Star) this morning, the wind was blowing at 43 knots at Bayan Lepas…near the place I work.

The wind was so strong that it blew away a portion of the plasterboard wall outside my office. Curios about the extent of the damage, me and a few of my officemates went outside to see and photograph the damage so we can report it to our management. What happen next was entirely unexpected. The wind was blowing strong…I mean very strong…

Just Another Day

I didn't do much today, its only 2:38pm actually. I missed my lunch just now. I went to pay the car insurance and renew my road tax…plus going to the bank to pay the car monthly installment. I reach office around 1:15pm and their where only biscuit for me to munched down. Now I'm feeling the effect already, my tummy is drumming like crazy. Poor tummy…

So it's official already. Our PM is going to get married again this Saturday. Congratulation and may your days will be fill with joy and laughter. I wish you all the best dear PM.

Tonight will be a boring one I guest. Nothing much on TV this time around. For your information, I still don't have the luxury of having Astro in the house. Miss England's match last night. Heard that Beckham played an important role for England…and Owen scored...unbelievable isn't it…cheers!

29 May 2007

It's not wrong to be imperfect and guilty. People will forgive, and they would forget. That's why we are humans…we forget. Sometimes it's just plain hard to follow the rules…what where they thinking when they jot down something stupid like that? Rules are meant to be broken…in the most creative way, I guess…

I went back to my hometown last month. It was that kind of holidays that seems normal on the outside but totally different inside. I went for something far more important. I went back with my girlfriend to get engaged. Yup…you heard me right. I'm officially engaged now…finally.

Part of the reason that I didn't post regularly (sorry) for this past two month is due to the new office... loads of unsettle work and me thinking to much about the engagement. Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost 7 years now. I met her while working during my semester break at Dell. She was there on the same circumstances also. Who ever guess a simple date to celebrate our pay day would end up as a relationship that would endure 7 years of uncertainty because of our religion. I'm a Catholic and she was a Christian (SIB).

It's kind of strange how we humans fight over something like religion. In order to get blessing from the church to get marry, one of us would have to give up our belief…why? I'm not willing to force her to follow me and she felt the same for me. For a time it was a cruel thing for us both when going to church wasn't on our Sunday plan anymore. Both of us are in love but the thought of getting our parents on a war path was unthinkable. We were both on a crossroad. We got into arguments…until one day, we decided that we would go to both churches on Sunday…

We are engaged now, I'm still a Catholic and she is still a Christian. When you love someone, religion “sometimes” isn't a barrier. Our family accepted that both of us are happier like this…learning and sharing one another opinions on our faith. Thank you God… thank you…
